About me
Welcome to 12 Nash Guitar, where creative minds meet in the heart of Nashville! I'm Robbie, the founder, and my journey in music has been a lifelong pursuit. With years of experience performing professionally, both solo and in bands up and down the East Coast, live and in studio, I bring a rich performance background to my teaching. My academic credentials include a Jazz Performance degree from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Commercial Guitar at Belmont University. My goal is to share my knowledge and passion with aspiring musicians of all levels, fostering a supportive and creative learning environment.
Our mission
At 12 Nash Guitar, our mission is to further music education in the heart of Nashville, welcoming students from all backgrounds and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner picking up a guitar for the first time or an experienced player looking to refine your technique, we're here to guide you on your musical journey. Our approach to music pedagogy involves outlining goals, tailoring lessons and academic material to your specific needs, and assessing and discussing progress often.

Transparency is key
Enrolling a child in instrument lessons can be daunting at first, and keeping track of progress and practice material is an essential part of improving their craft. With this in mind, we strive to keep an open line of communication with the parent and student to maintain progression, especially outside of lessons. Sit-in's are welcome and encouraged to help parents monitor their child's improvement as well!
